Hey Subscribers!
It’s me, popping in for some light updates on what’s happening in my little paint-stained world. Spring is for flowers, backyard dinners, park hangs, and MOMENTUM! Finally we’re cooking!
I’m just going to keep it simple as I share, in a digestible list format, what’s happening this next month or so.
My First Savannah Solo Show
Let’s kick off with my most exciting bit of news! I’m finally displaying some art where I actually live. If you’re in the Savannah area, please join me for the opening party for “Foodies and Friends” at Colleagues and Lovers in Habersham Village on Thursday, April 13th. The art will be up the following month and it’s for sale!
I’ll be displaying small pieces that I’ve been chipping away at this year. Some are inspired by bad cookbook art, some are inspired by scenes in local Savannah businesses, and everything just makes you want to sit at a table with fun company and good wine.
Hello, Austin, Texas
I’m back this April and I’m teaching a workshop! Join me on April 22nd at the Paper Craft Pantry for a Saturday of gouache painting! It’s wild, because exactly 3 years ago around this time I was teaching a gouache painting workshop in Austin on March 12, 2020 and then the next day the world shut down. So it’s kind of a full-circle moment, eh?
As of now, there are only TWO spots left!! Snag your spot below!
LIVE from the Puzzle World
Guess what, friends? You can now get a discount on your JIGGY puzzle purchases from just knowing me!! Oh yes, you are now an insider!
Pretty much, if you use the code SMALLCREATIVE when you order any JIGGY Puzzle (not just my designs), you get 15% off your whole purchase. Use this code anytime and as much as you want!
Last Call for Catchall
Remember my wonderful Catchall show a year ago in Dallas? Since that night, the pieces have been happily living at Mata Hari House in the Design District. Well, at the end of April I’m taking the pieces back to Savannah to start afresh there!
If you’re in the Dallas area and you’re interested in seeing or purchasing any art from this series, please make an appointment with Collette at collette@mataharihouse.com before the end of April!
Thanks friends! I’m happily bopping along with show prep and some random commissions this month. Don’t forget that you can always grab some prints on my Etsy shop or merchandise on my Society6 as well!
Cheers to a new season!
